Mersea is a small island. Only 13 miles round. The caravan park is small and has a clubhouse, indoor heated swimming pool, and outdoor pool, a well stocked shop. It is a quiet site next to a country park.
Amazing children's play park. It is right by the sea. Stunning views and miles of coastal and country walks. 1 mile away in West Mersea there are restaurants, takeaways, supermarkets, garage and various shops.
There are boat trips and popular jetty for crabbing .Famous for its oysters and fresh sea food. Colchester University 15 mins away(for visits Colchester is only 15 minutes away, Britain's oldest recorded town. Castle, zoo, roller skating, cinema. Constable country short drive away, Layer Marney Towers, and Beth Chatto gardens within half hour drive.
